The Andersons of Clinton, Iowa

This is the web site of Connor and Laura Anderson and our children, Molly, Liam and Josephine. We live in Clinton, Iowa right on the Mississippi River. Connor is Vice President of Riverfront Technology, Inc. in Clinton. Connor is also active in politics and in Clinton's economic and cultural development. He writes a semi-regular blog on the subjects of technology, the media, sustainability, and whatever else strikes his fancy. Older short stories and lame attempts at fiction are avialable via the "stories" link on the right. Laura is a mother, an accomplished seamstress and is very active in community organizations, serving as Vice President of the Clinton YWCA. She also sells things she makes on her etsy.com site, LaLaLu Design.

Connor grew up in Iowa and attended the University of Iowa. He worked extensively in politics in the late 1980's and early 1990's before changing careers to the IT field. Laura grew up in Homewood, Illinois and attended the University of Michigan and the Film School at the University of Southern California. She worked for over 10 years in the movie and TV industry. I have recently cleaned up the web site and archived the photos in the old gallery. It was nice, and a very interesting exercise for me when I was learning cascading style sheets. But it is much more convenient to maintain the pictures on flickr. Regrets to all the people who used to link to photos in the gallery.
